Description
Hadrian's Wall (a.k.a. the Roman Wall) spanned from coast to coast, from Wallsend in Newcastle upon Tyne on the East coast of England to Bowness-on-Solway on the west coast. For most of its length the remains of the wall are still intact. The wall was built by the Romans in 122 CE to guard their northern frontier.
