Description
Following a ridge of chalk hills, the broad track in the Thames Valley crosses the River Thames and passes through the downlands of the North Wessex Downs AONB and the woodlands of the Chilterns AONB, the trail passes several ancient hill forts and the famous Uffington White Horse. It's the oldest continuously used road in Europe.
