Description
Between Nottingham and Leeds in England you'll find many sites linked to the legend of Robin Hood. Including Sherwood Forest and its Mighty Oak — the home and hideout of Robin Hood and his merry men, the remains of Nottingham Castle, and alleged birthplaces and burial sites. Many of the locations line up with the 13/14th century C.E. King's Great Way roads and 13th Century Sherwood Forest boundaries. North at Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland is 'Robin Hood Tree' (Sycamore Gap Tree) featured in the 1991 classic Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
